This painting is done for my friend Deanna. She fought a brave battle with cancer but death finally claimed her in just 9 short months( Please read my recent journal). The autumn leaves are like Deanna's beauty,they will fade away and be returned to dust but her wonderful spirit will always remain with all those who knew her. The fresh red apples symbolises rebirth and hope for a new life in paradise, where she will be free forever...
