One Sheep Hill

This is a fun painting. Inspired when I was on my way to pick my daughter from her boarding school in gloucestershire last summer. The bright yellow grapeseed fields and lonely farm houses played in my mind and I decided to compose a painting with them. After finishing the whole painting, I decided to add a single white sheep on the hill and birds on the wire line which I think gave much more interest to the final composition.
